We are pleased to present to you the Das 'Fuku Ryu' Katana, a masterpiece of our Go-Kenin class. Forged from T10 steel and differentially heat treated, this katana has a Rockwell hardness of 60 on the blade and 40 on the back. The blade is precision ground and features a Bo-Hi along its entire length. The Tsuka is wrapped in black silk and the tsuka-ito with genuine stingray skin.

The tsuba has been masterfully crafted in the shape of a 'Fuku Ryu', a dragon that in Japanese mythology is considered a lucky dragon. Beneath the pure silk, the two extremely detailed menuki are designed in the shape of a small dragon. The kashira and the fuchi follow the same style of the lucky dragon. The saya of this sword is painted in plain black and trimmed with a black silk Sageo.

Authentic hamon runs through the blade and stands out visually thanks to the wide Bo-Hi. At the end of the sword is a medium-sized point, called Chu-Kissaki. If you are looking for a katana of high quality and elegance, look no further than the Das 'Fuku Ryu' Katana.
