Italian Rapier Sword, S. XVII

Italian rapier sword with grip typical of the sixteenth century. Our replica has carbon steel blade and bone hilt.

With the end of the Middle Ages the combat techniques changed so the swords also. During the Renaissance, wearing a sword was a symbol of manor. The high nobles had long swords and the rest of the nobles had shorter swords.
