These parts of chain mail were worn under plate armor by knights who did not want to carry the burden of full chain mail. Under armor, it protects the triceps, elbow, and forearm from an attack directed at the armor's weak spot.

This mail armor is HANDMADE from 17 gauge mild steel rings with a diameter of approx. 9mm each, riveted with WEDGE RIVETS. To increase resistance, the rings are alternated with SOLID FLAT RINGS.
