This sword has been specifically designed to learn sword and shield fencing, following the techniques and principles detailed in the fighting book "One Thirty-Three I.33".

All features of this sword resemble authentic Type XII, XIII, XIV, XV and XVI swords found in major museums. Its blade length is equal to the length of the arm, from the armpit to the tip of the middle finger. In addition, its weight is kept below one kilogram and its center of gravity is located 12 cm from the guard.

Although it is not a combat sword like a feder, the first generation Luctatio sword is perfectly suitable for reduced speed combat, allowing HEMA practitioners to develop their technique with greater precision and safety.

This sword has been handcrafted in Hungary by VB SwordShop, thus guaranteeing its quality and durability. Its blade has a thickness of 2 mm and a length of 78 cm, while its total length is 95 cm. With a weight of 1050 grams, it ensures an agile and comfortable handling during your training sessions and competitions.
