Hand and a Half Sword fighting heavy

Heavy medieval sword hand and half (2.7 Kg.) Fighting with blade forged carbon steel CSN 14260 (DIN 54 SiCr 6) with a hardness of 44-48 HRC and riveted handle. Swords One and a half also known as Bastardas swords are an evolution of medieval swords made for the fight and mourning. They appeared in the thirteenth century and continued to use until the seventeenth century but its heyday was in the fourteenth and fifteenth centuries.

These bastard swords were designed to protect with armor. A hand and a half sword is a weapon straight blade forged by hand and double-edged.

The hand and a half sword replaced the medieval sword as the main weapon of the Knights used for mourning. P>
