Mandoble of the Catholic Kings in Silver

Mandoble of the Catholic Kings with a silver finish. It is one of the most spectacular swords in Spanish History. This is the mythical sword with which Kings Fernando and Isabel was named knight Christopher Columbus, after returning from his first trip to America.

In the Throne room of the Royal Palace in Barcelona, Columbus was named Admiral of the Ocean and Viceroy of the Indies.

This sword call of ceremony was used as a standard-bearer in all religious ceremonies or significant public events of his reign, as the Conquest of Granada and the beginning of Spain as a Nation.
