The Meiji Kenkaku's Reverse Blade Katana is a fictional sword that appears in the manga and anime series 'Rurouni Kenshin'. In the series, this sword is a katana with an inverted curved blade, that is, with the edge facing inwards instead of outwards. The inverted blade is a sign that its owner, the main character Kenshin Himura, has renounced violence and vows not to kill anymore.

Rurouni Kenshin is a Japanese manga and anime created by Nobuhiro Watsuki. The series was first published in 1994 and follows the adventures of Kenshin Himura, a former assassin turned wanderer who fights to protect the weak and make amends for his past sins.
