Katana premium John Lee Golden Autumn. With this katana the John Lee series presents its new premium model.

The blade is made of 12x folded carbon steel (around 8,000 layers), differentially hardened with clay layer 60 HRC on the blade and around 40 HRC on the back. The blade is also constructed in Kobuse-Style* (hard cover, soft core). The masterful work of the polisher reveals the Damascus structure and a temperament line, underlined by a mirror polish on the back of the blade.

All the decorations (Tsuba, Menuki, Fuchi and Kashira) are handmade and frame the beauty of the moment in a simple autumnal scene. These simple yet elegant decorations are in the style of the Edo era (1603 - 1868).

The handle is wrapped in black silk, lined with traditional paper triangles (Hishigami) and real ray skin. Two conical mekugi (bamboo sticks) connect the long tang and the handle of the sword.

The high gloss lacquered black scabbard features a worked ray skin inlay. In addition to high-quality sageo, the scabbard impresses with buffalo horn trims (koiguchi, kurigata, kojiri).

Included in the scope of supply are an attractive collector's box made of wood, a printed fabric bag, stamp and certificate.
