We present the Rus Viking Sword, Type Petersen E1, Gnezdovo, C-15 Barrow from the 9th century. A one-handed Viking sword that will captivate you with its beauty and authenticity. It is an exact replica of an archaeological find discovered in 1874 at the Gnёzdovo archaeological complex, near Smolensk, Russia. This sword with a double-edged straight blade and 1060 high carbon steel, has an inscription on one of its faces, +ULFBERH+T, and on the other, a sequence of vertical lines and scrolls.

This model is a Type E1, according to Petersen's Viking sword typology, and is characterized by the ornamentation of simple cells on the hilt. The forend and pommel are adorned with numerous round holes arranged in lines and forming a checkered pattern. Additionally, the wooden grip is wrapped in brown leather for a firm and comfortable grip. The sword comes in a brown leather and wood scabbard with antique brass trim.

Please note that this medieval sword is not suitable for fighting. It has been designed as a collector's item, decoration or display item and is not suitable for combat reenactment.
