Black chain mail bishop's cloak. The bishop's mantle in the Middle Ages was attached to the helmet for additional protection of the neck and shoulders. The preferred helmets were, for example, the nasal helmet, but above all the baciente from the late Middle Ages or one of its versions, the skull or pigface helmet.
The bishop's mantle is inspired by historical examples. They have a jagged edge. A riveted leather lining protects the neck area and the neckline is adjustable using authentic late medieval brass straps and buckles.
