Sharp Ninjato John Lee Sword. Many commercially available ninja swords have a straight blade, which is probably due to Hollywood movie producers. The John Lee Ninjato, on the other hand, harkens back to historical lore. While in the sheath, it is indistinguishable from a normal katana. The shortened blade is only revealed when thrown and gives the ninja the decisive advantage in speed.

The particularly flexible 9260 carbon spring steel is used as blade steel. Steel hardened to approx. 55° Rockwell is known to hold its shape even under heavy loads. Ideal for cutting tests.
