But that is not all. Accompanying your axe is an exquisitely forged skinning knife, ideal for the most delicate tasks during your expeditions. Its unique design and leather cover guarantee comfort and style at all times.

And to keep your Viking treasure safe and well protected, we offer you an elegant wooden box engraved with Norse motifs, with black velvet interior and leather straps to secure your ax in place.

AXE: The narrow-bladed ax head is reminiscent of the Viking Age bearded axes (skeggöx) found throughout Norway. Skeggöx (from Old Norse skegg, beard + öx, axe) its name comes from the shape of the lower part of the ax head, the “beard”, which also served as a hook. This ax is light enough to use with one hand if desired. The American Hickory handle is stained dark brown. It features a groove that runs most of its length and is accented at the ends with brass studs. The leather handle has been given an aged finish to make it look 'seasoned'.

This set includes a leather sheath for the blade for safe transport.

KNIFE: The mini skinning knife has a rough forged finish and a creative handcrafted shape with a ring-shaped grip finished with an artistic flourish at the end. The leather sheath of this knife is provided with a leather strap that is also long enough to be worn around the neck, waist or shoulder.
