  • Although our medieval tents and LARP tents have already been waterproofed, please note that they may need to be re-treated after some time.
  • Setting up the tent is quite an easy task that can be completed quickly and without stress thanks to the loop system. The poles can be adjusted in length to suit your needs. When setting up the tent, make sure that the ropes connecting the roof angles and pegs continuously follow the seam lines of the tent and that the pegs are properly aligned with the bottom corners or loops of the tent.
  • Do not overstretch the strings, as natural materials such as wood or cotton alter under the influence of moisture in the air and need space to contract and expand. This way you can prevent, for example, the post holes in the ceiling from dilating and ultimately facilitating the ingress of water. We recommend loosening the strings slightly at night, as the humidity in the air increases considerably at night and can increase the risk of excessive tension exerted on your tent. The strings should also be loosened a little in case of rain or high atmospheric humidity.
  • When installing the side wall, it is better to start with the opening side of the store. As an additional preventive measure against moisture and mold, the walls of the tent should not touch the floor, as far as possible (this does not apply to tents with floors).
  • If the tent has been exposed to moisture, we strongly recommend that you dry it after use, otherwise mold is likely to form. Wooden poles should never be wrapped in plastic or the like. Once the posts are dry, a cotton cloth is perfectly sufficient.
  • Do not use, under any circumstances, detergents or any other cleaning product to clean your store. The best way to remove dried-on dirt is to use a brush.
  • When it comes to storing your tent for an extended period of time, separate all accessories (pegs, ropes, etc.) from the tent and preferably pack everything separately. Make sure all items are dry and stored in a dry place.
