It is easily adjustable to the shape of your body, thanks to its different sizes AVAILABLE and the carefully placed leather straps on the sides that allow you to adjust it, depending on the type of gambeson you are using. This beautiful 14th century brig is directly inspired by the famous Kusnacht brig found in a castle in Switzerland. It is one of the best-known Brigandines from the 14th century and also one of the most popular today, both in tournaments and medieval battlefields, as well as in Behourd and jousting.
And there's no question why, because the clever design of the original that we've been directly emulating offers an extremely high level of protection and maximum mobility. All the plates overlap each other, allowing the brigandine to spread any impact onto the fighter's torso efficiently because each plate that is hit by an impact actually overlaps other plates, really allowing the diffusion of any punch, and allows incredible mobility at the same time; even doing a high kick in that kind of brigandine is totally possible!
