Medieval Churburg castle basin, 14th century

The completely detachable visor is secured in place by pins and features eye slots approximately 1.5cm high and 0.5cm wide, along with numerous round holes on its right side to ensure adequate ventilation.

The helmet is adorned with steel vervelles, small projecting rivets with holes that allow the addition of a chainmail aventail or camail (not included). The interior of the helmet is blackened for better corrosion resistance and equipped with a black cotton padded lining, fixed to the edge of the helmet with strong stitching. Additionally, the helmet can be secured under the chin with ties, offering a secure and comfortable fit.
