John Lee model Shiro functional katana that means 'white' and represents, among others, purity and holiness, but also pain and death in Japanese culture. The Samurai would wear white clothing under their armor to symbolize their unwavering determination to fight to the end. Characteristic:

  • Shinogi-Zukuri style blade with fuller (Bo-Hi), hand forged in 1045 high carbon steel.
  • Sharp blade with Hamon line, for a particularly genuine look.
  • White cotton hilt wrapper in the traditional Hineri-Maki style.
  • Wooden scabbard with a high gloss white lacquered finish.
  • Long end of handle attached to hilt with 2 bamboo pegs (Mekugi). Therefore, the sword can be completely disassembled.
  • Made only from authentic high quality materials, no plastic is used.
  • Shovel collar (Habaki) and washers (Seppa) made of brass.
  • The traditional hilt coating is completed with an authentic ray skin lining.
  • All decorations (Tsuba, Fuchi, Menuki, Kashira) made of metal.
  • Delivered in a protective John Lee sleeve.
  • All original John Lee swords are supplied with stamp and certificate of origin.
