This beautiful leather helmet is a replica of the Viking Gjermundbu Helmet (named after a similar one found in a great warrior's burial mound found on the Gjermundbu farm in Norway) which was very popular during the Middle Ages. Its origin dates back to the Vendel Era, carried out during the Viking Age (approx. in the year 875). This Viking helmet has the design known as a "spectacled helmet", a mask that covers the eyes and nose forming a protective mask.
