This sword features a long o-kissaki with hand-engraved Fudo horimono and bo-hi, allowing for a faster and lighter cut. Additionally, the folding technique used on the blade creates an exceptionally beautiful grain pattern that is accented with the distinctive hamon.

The stingray skin tsuka used on the hilt is of the highest quality, and the tsuka-ito and sageo are woven from the finest quality Japanese silk. Darkened bronze details, with relief decorations and selective copper, silver and gold details, on the fuchi, kashira, kojiri, koiguchi and kurigata lend a touch of elegance to this sword. The tsuba is made of hardened and darkened copper, with relief decoration and selective details in silver and gold. The habaki is of two-piece construction, with the inner section of copper and the outer section of gold-plated brass. The saya is deeply lacquered red, with a black ring-carved section at the mouth.
