As winter approaches and the Viking nights grow long and dark once more, it's time to get ready. From the struggle for food, wealth and land, the men return to their villages.
As we know here, the Vikings also had to dress sufficiently so as not to fall victim to the cold. But what were the methods back then? Animal skin, found more in the ground today, was a very popular aid in the Middle Ages. Especially in winter, this fur with fur was probably a warming miracle. But even when the days grew longer again and the sun appeared more often, fur could still be used, for example, to make the chair or stool more comfortable.
