Type 6 padded medieval gambeson with buttoned front. We are not talking about ultra-thin or synthetic padded prawns available on the market. We are talking about ROBUST CANVAS and REAL PADDING, which makes the difference when looking for a real shrimp! For a comfortable and adjustable fit, this gambeson comes with buttoned sleeves. Our 14th century buttoned quilted gambeson is handcrafted from two layers of STRONG CANVAS COTTON sandwiched with a thick layer of quilting, making it perfect armor on its own for any light infantry, archer, artilleryman or any soldier. relying on mobility to avoid a battle they don't want to fight. It can also be worn under plate armor or chain mail, making them more comfortable to wear. This specific prawn is directly inspired by an EXISTING prawn that belonged to Charles de Blois during the 14th century.
