Inspired by Cold Steel®'s beloved Bird & Trout knife, and following design cues from the Spike series, the Bird & Game is designed for small game use, but is more than capable of processing large game in a pinch. The integral finger ring (along with the textured polymer handle scales) allows the wielder to maintain a secure grip on the blade and even let it dangle from one finger while working on particularly intricate or delicate tasks.
Bird & Game's razor-sharp Japanese AUS 8A blade has been expertly heat-treated for durability, while remaining a breeze to sharpen in the field.
Weighing in at just 40g, the Bird & Game is a super lightweight, inexpensive hunting tool that can be stored in a bag or pack, or even hung on a chain around your neck with its Secure-Ex® sheath.

AUS 8A stainless steel
Cold Steel® has been using the same expertly heat-treated Japanese AUS 8A steel for nearly 3 decades. This steel has tested surprisingly well over the years and has proven to be an excellent knife-working steel: strong, corrosion resistant, with good edge grip and easy to re-sharpen.
