Sixteenth-century Italian Falchion sword
Functional Italian Falchion sword from the first quarter of the 16th century. Blade made of high carbon steel, knob and steel guard and handle in polished hard wood covered in leather. Includes leather scabbard decorated with steel pieces. Manufactured by Windlass Steelcrafts®.
The Italian Falchion is considered a heavy weapon, with a single edge blade. It was designed for battle in battle against armor and chainmail. This replica is based on the one found in the museum in Florence (Italy).
