Functional verneuil sword, hand and medium, of the fifteenth century. Blade made of carbon steel with finish, knob and guard with aged bronze finish. The handle is lined in leather. Includes matching pod Manufactured by Windlass Steelcrafts®.
The Verneuil Sword owes its name to the battle of the same name that took place in August 1424 during the 100 year war in the vicinity of Normandy. It was the most decisive battle of the English along with that of Agincourt.
