Escramasajón long Geirstein also called to fight sax made of carbon steel CSN 14260 (DIN 54 SiCr 6) with a hardness of 44-48 HRC. It looks like a dagger or a knife but is considered a small sword with a single edge and sharp point. Weapon widely used by the Vikings and Saxons between the fourth and tenth centuries. The sax sword was used as a tool and as a weapon to make cuts, but could also be used to stab due to its sharp point.
