Falchion of Vlachia

Falchion sword Vlachia with warm carbon steel blade and steel handle and guard. The Falchion is a sword that was used in the Middle Ages and the Renaissance, which has a single edge and is curved at the top, next to the tip.

The term comes from the French Braquemart Falchion, which appears in the middle of the fifteenth century as a direct translation of the German word Messer ( "big knife").
