Sallet Archer, the Mid-FIFTEENTH century
Helmet Sallet Archer used in the second half of the FIFTEENTH century. Reproduction of the Walters Art Museum, Italy. This helmet was favored by archers, which required a vision intact to aim effectively with their bows. Made of two halves welded steel 2 mm (14 gauge), presents a polished surface with a leather lining and adjustable strap for the chin.
