This rifle is not to scale with the original, but the bolt action works a treat. I would recommend you use steel wool and boot polish to age the rifle up. Once you have done that, other than the size, which is a few inches shorter from either side, and the fact there are no Lee Enfield markings; its a good alternative to a deactivated version. And a lot less controversial to government legislation

Just received this rifle, I used one in 1958 when in the Royal Air Force, this replica could not be closer to the real thing, great rifle.

A fantastic piece. Came well oiled, well packed, speedy delivery and good communication. It is very authentic, has an operating bolt and removable magazine and a brilliant display piece or something for the reenactors.
