Functional Dagger Gothic, XIII and XIV centuries

robust functional Gothic dagger used in the thirteenth and fourteenth centuries. Made of carbon steel CSN 14260 (DIN 54 SiCr 6). The blade is light and strong and pommel is riveted.

The dagger is longer than a dagger and shorter than a sword stab. They are weapons of struggle flattened with a double edge to protect and save his fist. Daggers were carrying weapons to protect women and used as secondary weapons to complement the sword.

The first daggers appear in the Bronze Age and is used to produce materials such as bone, ivory and silex. Daggers were feared weapons in expert hands for its ability to strike. P>
